The One Rare Male Problem That is Fast Becoming a Major One

We all know that when it comes to male sexual health issues erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation are the ones that most of us are concerned about and rightly so as these are the most common ones by far; but one problem which used to be a relatively rare one in the past is rapidly becoming a major issue and I have seen cases of which increase quite a bit over the past few years.
This problem is Delayed Ejaculation, and while most men feel that having a long lasting erection and the ability to prolong ejaculation for a long time is the ultimate measure of a good lover, it can however lead to problems which they don’t anticipate (like exhaustion and other emotional issues for you and your partner); and unfortunately there is not a lot of good and widely available information available on what triggers this condition and what can be done about it.
The following are some of the factors that can contribute to delayed ejaculation:
•    Medicines: Some medications like anti-depressants and others which are used to treat conditions like high blood pressure, insomnia can cause side effects like delayed ejaculation in some patients.
•    Alcohol: Consuming copious amount of alcohol can not only cause erectile dysfunction but may also cause you impair your ability to ejaculate.
•    Porn and Masturbation: Easy access to porn due to the Internet and the consequent increase of frequency of masturbation among men has not only increased the time it takes to reach an orgasm but also a lot of men get into the habit of seeking novelty and expectations of their partner which can be unrealistic to say the least.
•    Emotional Distractions: While some men may be physically aroused when they get intimate, they may not be emotionally connected and this along with other mental distractions like financial problems and work related issues may cause a few men to not reach an orgasm.
Here are a few tips on what you can do to counter delayed ejaculation:
•    Cut back on porn and reduce the frequency of masturbation and instead focus more on actual sex with your partner.
•    Stop abusing alcohol. Drinking socially is fine but try not going overboard with your drinking.
•    Check with your doctor to see if the medications you are taking may cause delayed ejaculation as a side effect and try changing the medication to see if that clears up this problem ( but under strict medical supervision only).
If these tips don’t work, then it is probably time for you to seek help from a qualified sexologist who can fully analyze your case and guide you towards the right treatment.
