Tenderness in a Relationship Is More Important to Men than Women

Contrary to the long held belief that women crave more for tenderness than men in a relationship, a new international study reveals that in-fact men tend to give more importance to tenderness than the fairer sex. the study also showed that in a long term relationship cuddling and caressing improves the overall satisfaction in the relationship for both partners.
Another interesting finding was that women in general feel greater sexual satisfaction the longer they are in the same relationship (15 years or longer) which is again contrary to the belief that most women tend to loose sexual satisfaction as they age and enter menopause.
Men who were a part of this study also felt that having more sexual partners did not equate to higher sexual satisfaction, in fact they felt that it was lower because of it.
This is an interesting study because it reiterates that being involved in a long term relationship where both partners cared and showed tenderness towards each other meant that they both were not only satisfied emotionally but also sexually. And this is important in today’s day and age where people tend to drift from one relationship to another without making the time and effort to work on their issues and are both emotionally and sexually dissatisfied because of it.
Try solving the relationship issues which you may have with your partner by talking to them and also taking the time to address their concerns. It is not easy to build a happy long term relationship but if you and your partner put in the effort to do so, the reward is fulfilling both emotionally and physically.
