The Most Common Female Sex Problem & How to Fix It

Sexual problems are widely prevalent in both men and women, while the most common sex related problems in men are erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, in women loss of sexual desire (loss of libido) is by far the most common. It is clearly the most frustrating but also the most easily treatable of female sex problems.
The Loss of sexual desire in a woman can be confusing for not only her partner but also for the woman herself. This is so because in the majority of cases there is no clear cut reason for it. Before, this problem was usually associated with women suffering from menopause, but increasingly this condition is being seen in much younger women.
The reasons for loss of libido vary from person to person; here are few of these:
•    Hormonal Changes: Women can start to have hormonal changes from their 40’s and these can lead to her losing sexual desire. Proper medication can take care of this.
•    Discomfort during intercourse: If a woman feels discomfort or pain consistently most times that she indulges in sex, she can start to lose interest in intercourse just to avoid the pain. This is easily fixed by using the proper lubrication.
•    Emotional Distress: Loss of libido can also occur if the woman is under emotional duress. Her emotional state has a lot to do with her wanting to indulge in sexual activity. This can be fixed by decreasing the stress levels in her day to day life and improving the emotional aspect of her relationship through counseling or just talking with her partner and solving any unresolved relationship issues.
•    Physical condition: If a woman is suffering from illness or is just plain fatigued after a long tiring day, she will definitely not be up for a romp between the sheets. Medication and proper rest can take care of this problem.
Overall the important thing to realize about loss of libido is that one needs to first identify the reason for it and then seek professional help to solve this problem. Communication and patience is required by both partners to be able to get their sex life back on track. Talking with your doctor or a sex therapist will be the first step in the right direction to reclaiming your sex life.
